The 2019 NOMAS Symposium theme centers around the person behind the professional. We hope to bring students and professionals together in the discussion and celebration of our stories and culture. The topics addressed will span from childhood, life as a student, to experiences as a professional. We recognize that despite the varying levels of expertise of professionals and students alike, there has been sacrifices, joyful moments, and many lessons learned along the way. Through the discussion of these moments, we hope to create unity and a sense of connection.
